Sylvia Ho-Ling Hui Lam Memorial Fund
The Sylvia Ho-Ling Hui Lam Memorial Fund was established
in January, 2005 under the umbrella of the
Chinese Heritage Foundation (CHF).
Its objective is to help introduce arts, performing and
visual, to children of all ages, especially those
disadvantaged.
Because it was established as part of the CHF, it will
also help the CHF in its mission to promote the
understanding of Chinese culture and heritage in
Minnesota and across the United States.
In the near future, the family hopes to sell prints of
Ms. Lam's work and donate all proceeds to this fund.
Sylvia H. Lam Endowed Cancer Research Fund

at the
University of Minnesota as a research scientist
for over 30 years.
At the time of her death, she worked at the
University
of Minnesota Cancer Center

summer interns that studied in her research lab.
The Sylvia H. Lam Endowed Cancer Research Fund was
established at the
Minnesota Medical
Foundation (MMF) to further help
disadvantaged students obtain summer internships at
the University of Minnesota Cancer Center.
It will also
provide one-time scholarships to foreign or
disadvantaged students
under the guidance of members of the Cancer Center.
